The two narrators Sloan and Courtland (they alternate) also were very believable, at times I did not understand Sloan's actions, but it always felt true to the character. I don't want to take away much of the story, I think part of what makes this book really good is figuring out what is happening, especially at the start. I'm not good at writing reviews, but I'm going to try anyways, because I think this book deserves a lot more attention and I don't think the description is very descriptive. Blakney Francis was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she developed an unhealthy obsession with college football but never once had the urge to marry a cousin as the stereotypes of the South might suggest. ![]() |
